Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of responsive websites and custom web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web technologies, user experience principles, and the ability to translate client requirements into high-quality, functional, and visually appealing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, monitor website performance, and implement optimizations
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry best practices
• Development of new websites in Webflow and WordPress, including implementing new features and functionality through coding and customizations
• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) and implement best practices for speed and performance
• Perform website updates, content management, and troubleshoot issues related to existing websites
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and industry standards to propose innovative solutions and enhancements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, meet client expectations, and provide regular progress updates

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in web development
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and web accessibility standards
• Ability to interpret client requirements and estimate development timelines
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving aptitude
• Experience building sites on the Webflow platform

Preferred:

• Experience building custom themes and plugins for WordPress
• Knowledge of Shopify theme development and Liquid templating
• Experience implementing SEO enhancements and web performance optimizations
• Understanding of web security principles and best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to mentor junior developers
• Passion for staying current on web technologies and techniques

For Custom Applications Role:

• Proficiency with version control systems like Git
• Proficiency with React framework and Node.js
• Experience with REST APIs
• Knowledge of MongoDB databases
