Software Engineer

This position is for an aspiring software engineer who is looking for mentorship, career development and opportunities to learn. Responsibilities:


  • Implement new features, enhance existing features and eliminate bugs

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings

  • Own your personal development by learning and growing (being mentored & mentoring others)

  • Solve problems using knowledge, passion and curiosity

  • Code with adherence to best practices including test driven development

  • Partner with our DevOps team to support CI/CD pipelines

Technologies:


  • Java Spring Boot

  • Message Queues (RabbitMQ)

  • SQL (MS SQL Server)

  • Containerization (Docker)

  • Micro-Service Architecture

  • REST API

Required Experience:


  • 2+ years of experience building backend software with Java.

  • Experience working in an agile environment. (Jira a plus)

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Enjoy sharing ideas with, and learning from, other team members
