As a Manufacturing Technician I, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations on the manufacturing floor. You will assist in developing and executing test systems, fixtures, and prototypes, participate in validation activities, and support process improvements to ensure efficiency, compliance, and product quality. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual seeking experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment
Provide day-to-day technical support to the manufacturing floor by troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
Assist in the design and development of test fixtures, test schemes, and custom devices to support product assembly and inspection.
Perform mechanical measurements, create prototypes, and conduct part and process testing.
Support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities.
Participate in equipment and production line validation activities, including support for IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation and execution.
Assist in the creation and review of technical documentation, including manufacturing work instructions, test reports, technical drawings, and proposals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and improve production efficiency.
Required:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field - or equivalent hands-on experience.
Foundational understanding of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience or coursework in medical devices, connector design, fine wire termination, or cabling.
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820.
Basic proficiency in 2D/3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks or similar software).
Exposure to production environments or validation processes in regulated industries.
