Job Responsibilities
- The candidate is expected to work in a highly dynamic and technical environment with a relentless focus on delivering excellence to Juniper customers.
- Lead key customer escalations within team towards resolution and own stake holder communication on critical / hot escalations.
- Understand Customer’s impact, prioritize, own, and effectively communicate among various stakeholders.
- Closely engage with escalations team and Product teams to drive customer reported escalations towards closures.
- Be a Team player, flexible to work on Weekends/Holidays as per the Business requirement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience supporting enterprise IP networks and Security products
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent educational/work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and customer handling skills.
- Candidate should have very strong fundamental "core" networking skills, with strong knowledge and troubleshooting of TCP/IP Protocol suite.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex networks at all layers of network using sniffer tools like Wireshark etc.
- Ability to logically troubleshoot complex and high impact problems.
- In-depth knowledge of IPsec VPN (Virtual Private Networks)
- Proven knowledge of NGFW, SSL Inspection, Web filtering and other security technologies.
- Understanding of High Availability concepts (HSRP, VRRP, JSRP, MNHA)
- BGP, OSPF, RIP, SDWAN and SDN technologies’ understanding would be an added advantage.
- Virtualization, Cloud and Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell scripting etc..) would be considered as an added advantage.
- Certification on Cloud and Security domain is preferred.
- JNCIA-Mist AI, JNCIP-Security and other Juniper certifications are added plus.
- Self-learner with an appetite for continuous development.
