As an Accountant II - Payroll Analyst, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll transactions for salaried exempt, non-exempt, and hourly employees across multiple pay groups and pay frequencies (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly). You will also provide daily oversight and quality control of payroll inputs across various payroll systems and partners closely with plants, stores, Corporate HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and a third-party payroll provider to research and resolve payroll issues efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Provide daily oversight, direction, and quality control of payroll transaction inputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Process off-cycle payments, analyze root causes, and identify opportunities to prevent recurring off-cycle transactions.

  • Research and resolve complex payroll inquiries, including management requests and escalated pay issues.

  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying payroll issues and implement permanent corrective actions.

  • Investigate and resolve problematic payroll discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.

  • Identify, initiate, and support payroll process improvements to enhance efficiency and support business process optimization initiatives.

  • Run and review payroll reports required to meet service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Collaborate with management and payroll service providers to ensure alignment with payroll processes and performance expectations.

What We’re Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounting, Business, or Finance.

  • Professional English Level (Oral & Written).

What Will Set You Apart

  • Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Payroll Experience with large or multinational organizations.

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) credential.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Workday (Report Writer)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to support decisions with data and clear rationale.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Very strong attention to details and accuracy.
