ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and execute the month-end financial close process, including the preparation and review of accounting journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare and present management reports for internal use
Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and preparing necessary audit schedules
Support relevant tax filings, including local requirements, as well as free trade zone regulations
Manage special projects and provide ad-hoc operational accounting support as needed
Conduct weekly team meetings and huddles
Perform performance reviews and implement improvement plans for team members
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position includes direct supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum of five years of accounting experience
At least one year of supervisory experience
Experience with ERP systems (MSD365 is a plus)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Ability to inspire and lead a team, fostering professional growth
Proficiency in optimizing processes and workflows
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present information professionally to customers, management, and subordinates
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequently required to stand, and walk
Regularly required to sit for extended periods
Regularly uses arms to reach, hands and fingers for computer and phone use
Requires close-up and computer screen distance vision ability
