The Associate [Bond] Market Analyst in LSEG Evaluated Pricing Operations is responsible for providing support for fixed income and derivative evaluations, as well as delivering customer service. Refinitiv provides evaluated pricing on over 2.9 million fixed income instruments and derivatives daily, which are used by asset managers, custodian banks, investment banks, and third-party vendors.

Day-to-day responsibilities include pricing production activities and query case management. Pricing production involves the creation and ongoing maintenance of money market and credit default swap (CDS) curves, ensuring accurate market representation. The role also includes client file creation, mortgage-backed benchmark pricing, and conducting research on new issuances to support pricing coverage.

In addition, the analyst is responsible for investigating and resolving customer queries, including requests related to pricing coverage and data quality, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and validate market color.

  • Provide and follow through on improvements in execution or automation ideas.

  • Maintain money market yield curves.

  • Update evaluated credit default swap (CDS) levels.

  • Maintain and update real-time mortgage-backed pricing models.

  • Research terms and conditions for newly issued municipal bonds.

  • Prepare custom files for client delivery.

  • Meet production schedule deadlines.

  • Ensure alignment with established controls and procedures.

  • Handle pre-sales requests related to the pricing of sovereign, corporate, asset-backed, and municipal fixed income securities.

  • Manage client queries, including price challenges and coverage requests.

  • Support customer service research projects and reporting.

  • Manage and meet internal and external client expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or in the final stage of a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, actuarial sciences, or engineering

  • Excellent communication, writing, and training skills

  • The ability to work with large amounts of data in spreadsheets

  • Fluent in English

  • Passion for capital markets

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of fixed income and mathematics

  • Familiarity with case management software preferred.

  • Programming skills (Python, SQL, etc.) preferred.
