BIM Manager – JLL

What this job involves:

The BIM Manager is a strategic technical leader who bridges advanced BIM expertise with facilities management operations. In this hybrid role, you'll serve as both a senior technical expert and project lead, managing complex BIM-to-IWMS integration projects while leading a team of 6-7 professionals. You'll work directly with clients to deliver innovative solutions that transform building data into actionable facility management insights across TRIRIGA and Archibus platforms. This position drives operational excellence through automation, establishes industry-leading BIM-FM standards, and shapes the future of how JLL leverages building information for asset lifecycle management. If you're passionate about solving complex technical challenges, mentoring talented teams, and delivering strategic value to enterprise clients, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead end-to-end BIM-IWMS integration projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations while developing BIM-FM publishing standards, data schemas, and integration protocols tailored to client requirements and industry best practices

  • Engage directly with clients on a weekly basis, conducting requirement gathering sessions, presenting technical solutions, delivering progress updates, and providing strategic BIM-FM consulting on asset lifecycle management and operational workflows

  • Design and implement automation workflows using pyRevit, Dynamo, C# plugins, and scripting tools to enhance integration efficiency, data quality, and operational reliability across Revit-to-IWMS data pipelines

  • Troubleshoot complex technical challenges including Level 2 and Level 3 BIM-IWMS integration issues, parameter mapping failures, Smart Client configuration problems, and data synchronization challenges using advanced problem-solving and independent judgment

  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and clients on Revit modeling, IWMS platforms, BIM-FM integration workflows, asset data management, and automation techniques while creating comprehensive documentation and user guides

  • Establish and maintain BIM-FM standards, defining processes for the complete Revit-to-IWMS integration journey, documenting BIM execution plans aligned with ISO 19650 and COBie standards, and developing data harmonization protocols

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members through direct performance management, technical guidance, skill development support, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, BIM, Facilities Management, Computer Science, or related field, OR 5+ years of experience in BIM-FM integration or related technical leadership roles

  • Direct leadership experience with proven ability to manage team performance, mentor professionals, and guide project teams to successful completion

  • Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit including complex family development, Revit API and plugins, custom shared parameter workflows, workset strategies, model federation, and COBie data management

  • Advanced English communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge of IWMS platforms (TRIRIGA and/or Archibus) including administration, database architecture, integration configuration, custom workflow development, and API integration

  • Proven track record leading BIM-IWMS integration projects in Corporate Real Estate environments with demonstrated ability to engage clients at senior levels and deliver strategic consulting services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automation and scripting proficiency with pyRevit, Dynamo for Revit, C# development, Python programming, or API integration experience for custom workflow development

  • Deep understanding of industry standards including ISO 19650, COBie, IFC, and space measurement standards (BOMA, FICM) with ability to define BIM execution plans

  • Experience with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks Manage, Solibri Model Checker, or BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud for model coordination and quality assurance

  • Business intelligence and data visualization skills including Power BI, advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA), and experience creating executive dashboards and technical presentations

  • Exposure to AI and emerging technologies including Claude API, ChatGPT API for workflow automation, or machine learning applications in BIM and facilities management

  • Flexibility to accommodate meeting schedules across multiple time zones to support global team collaboration
