About the Team

The primary purpose of Workday Education is to create a great student and instructor experience globally by delivering engaging and innovative learning solutions to help customers, partners, and employees make the most of Workday’s unified solution. Our Content team is a critical first point of consultation and execution, rapidly understanding and evolving curriculum and learning offerings that take advantage of current learning and technology trends.
WEMG (Workday Education Media Group) works to enhance Workday Education initiatives through the creation of video and graphics, as well as internal communications to Workday teams and the greater Workday employee base.

About the Role

  • Design a variety of projects including graphics for education marketing videos, presentations, social media, email marketing, infographics, and event design.

  • Take projects from concept through final delivery with oversight from Art Director and Design Manager.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with mid-level designers, ensuring alignment 

  • Ensure a smooth workflow between our Costa Rica and U.S. based designers by providing assistance to Jr. level onsite designers.

  • Efficiently handle workload, interact with stakeholders, communicate project status, and adhere to tight deadlines.

  • Follow branding guidelines and effectively communicate design decisions.

  • Mentor Junior level designers in alignment with the Art Director and Design manager.

About You

  • Excellent graphic design, visualization, typographic, production and personal management skills.

  • Keen sense of graphic design aesthetics/sharp eye for design and composition

  • Background in corporate brand design

  • Seamlessly collaborate with motion graphic designers and video producers

  • Thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Excellent file and project management 

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.

  • Experience working cross functionally with a variety of collaborators.

  • Ability to think independently and brainstorm creative solutions.

  • Proficiency in Figma

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (templates, animations).

  • Degree in Graphic Design or Related Field.

  • Open to learning and researching new AI design tools.

  • 5+ years design experience
