Responsibilities

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Supports Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, goal attainment and empowerment.
  • Act as a coach for managers regarding employee relations issues including performance improvement & development plans and progressive discipline.
  • Ensures compliance with Company policies and ensures consistent practice.  Proactively identifies problems central to business strategy and forecasts potential obstacles to success.
  • Promote positive labor relations, including advise to employees and managers about company practices, procedures, regulations and need for compliance. Ensure adequate communication of CooperSurgical Internal Policies and Procedures.
  • Responds to escalated Human Resources issues including investigation of internal and external complaints.
  • Perform exit interviews and propose action plans based on the information provided by the employees.
  • Promote Connection & Belonging strategies across the organization and implement best demonstrated practices to enhance current program.
  • Oversee programs administered by the HR department, which include employee wellness, engagement activities, benefits, staffing, on boarding, & professional development.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to implementing continuous enhancement initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of key HR projects and programs, providing regular updates and reports to HR leadership.
  • Utilize business relationships to resolve employee inquiries and manage related HR processes.
  • Foster collaboration across HR teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Keeps abreast of current trends, practices, and developments in the profession.  Make recommendations for implementation.
  • Performs additional duties or assignments as directed by management.

 



Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fiel

Minimum 7 years' experience in H.R. business partnering experience and wide range of HR areas including TA, total reward, engagement. 

•  Labor Legislation knowledge

•  Strategic Planning capabilities

•  Well-developed interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to interact with all levels in the organization.

• Well organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficient in Microsoft products.

• Ability to lead and effect change.

This job requires 20-30% travel.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing site/clean rooms 
  • Distribution/Warehouse sites
  • Prolonged sitting in front of a computer
  • Potential exposure to noise
