The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and validating secure architectures across enterprise systems. This position requires strong software development experience, deep technical expertise, and the ability to integrate security into complex, distributed environments. The ideal candidate combines hands-on coding skills with architectural vision, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
About the team
Moody’s Security Architecture team, drives secure-by-design engineering across cloud and distributed environments. The group builds scalable architectures, hardens APIs and microservices, and integrates modern AI practices to enhance security and automation. Engineers collaborate closely with IT, Security, and product teams to deliver resilient solutions, implement cloud and container security controls, and improve detection and response using SIEM/EDR/SOAR. It’s a high‑impact, engineering‑forward team where strong communicators influence technical direction and mentor others.
