The Manufacturing Systems Engineer is responsible for providing technical support in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing systems. This role focuses on assisting in the implementation of new technologies and optimizing manufacturing processes through software-driven solutions.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- System Setup: Assist in the configuration of manufacturing systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance in compliance with GMP and internal procedures.
- Technology Integration: Support the integration of new technologies into existing manufacturing processes, including hands-on testing and evaluation.
- Software Testing: Participate in the design and execution of tests for validating software improvements used in manufacturing processes, documenting findings, and recommendations.
- Process Validation: Assist in the qualification and validation of manufacturing processes, including the assistance on creation and maintenance of documentation for IQ, OQ, PQ, UATs, and PPQs.
- Troubleshooting: Assist and conduct root cause analysis and resolve technical issues related to equipment malfunctions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Process Improvement: Work closely with production teams to identify inefficiencies and assist in the development and implementation of technical solutions to enhance productivity.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations throughout all operational activities.
- Training Support: Assist in training new employees in the technical aspects of manufacturing systems, safety protocols, and best operational practices.
- Documentation Management: Aid in the creation and updating of technical documentation, including Manufacturing Operational Instructions, Routers, BOMs, and technical drawings.
- Technical Analysis: Support the execution of technical analyses and experiments using statistical methods to resolve issues related to products or components.
- GMP System Maintenance: Help maintain GMP systems, ensuring all documentation and procedures are up to date and compliant with company policies.
- Additional Duties: Perform other technical tasks assigned based on training and operational needs.
WHO YOU ARE
- Educational Requirements:
University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or pharmaceutical production.
- Languages:
Spanish (Native).
English Proficiency oral and writing. (Mandatory).
- Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices is desirable.
- Abilities and Skills:
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with manufacturing systems, equipment, and software applications.
Familiarity in troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving methodologies.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Adaptable to change and open to learning new technologies.
Capable of developing positive working relationships and teamwork.
