Job Summary

This job is responsible for the strategic planning and design of the company's internal communications network. It involves testing and certifying new network components. The role ensures seamless integration and deployment within the company network.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Determining and implementing corporate communications network and information technology standards for system-wide consistency
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues to ensure stability and optimal performance
  • Documenting internal telecommunications systems to maintain accurate system configurations and records
  • Designing and configuring telecommunications systems to meet organizational needs and objectives
  • Establishing and maintaining network performance objectives to align with business requirements and service level agreements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions and enhance infrastructure capabilities
  • Monitoring network performance to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact services
  • Participating in the development of network strategies and contributing technical insights to improve network operations
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Cisco Systems, Inc.
