Russian with Ukrainian Linguist

POSITION SUMMARY: We are actively seeking Russian with Ukrainian Linguists to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Provide translations and summaries focusing on military, cyber, and science and technology topics. Ability to pass an advanced English test.
• Translation into English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
• Editing of language products.
• Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise.
• Translation Related Services.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:   TS/SCI with polygraph is required. However, candidates with any level of clearance, including those with no clearance but who are deemed eligible, may be considered. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on Russian and Ukrainian language translation tests.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional experience conducting translation, transcription, and translation.
• Bachelor s degree or higher required.
• Must possess excellent English skills and the ability to produce precise English translations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Triage
• Possess subject matter expertise in Counterproliferation, Cyber, and Science and Technology areas of focus. 

PAY RANGE:

Pay Range: $110,000 - $200,000 a year

MultiLingual Solutions (MLS) pay range and level are general guidelines for this job. Several factors, including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data, determine the final salary.
