The Senior Business Analyst is primarily responsible for using data extraction tools to perform in-depth analysis of programs and opportunities in the collections business. The Senior Business Analyst makes recommendations to improve the business profitability or operational processes based on their analysis and may design strategies to implement those recommendations. The position is also responsible for creating and monitoring reports to identify trends, issues and opportunities.


Responsibilities
Create and monitor reports to identify issues, trends, opportunities. 10%

Extract and analyze data to support business initiatives (e.g. profitability, performance and variance analysis). 50%

Make recommendations to improve business profitability or processes. 30%

Present and share data with other team members. 10%


Education
Required: Bachelor; Quantitative field

Language
Required: English

Experience
Required: 2 - 4 years experience in an analytical / quantitative role, or equivalent education and experience. Experience in designing and running queries. Proficiency with MS Office particularly Excel and Access.
Preferred: SAS or SQL experience; familiarity with iSeries queries.
