What you will do:
Supervise and lead teams in Material Handling, Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement and Production Planning.
Ensure monthly/weekly customer demand aligned with planned capacity, and financial plans driving operational efficiency while meeting committed build plans & budget.
Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy, reduce freight spending, and optimize resource utilization.
Supplier Handling: Set contact with suppliers, establish communication methods, collect and update all relevant purchasing data, and give suggestions for VMI (where applicable).
Manage and oversee purchasing and movement of all materials (local and international).
Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, contracts, etc.
Lead development of purchasing strategies to maximize material availability while optimizing inventory target.
Responsible for vendor and raw material maintenance in and outside the ERP system
Drive cost saving initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional peers to drive value streams - ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Financial (inventory, asset control), and operational metrics.
Deployment and compliance with all import and exportlocal regulationsunder the free trade zone (FTZ) regime:
Development, implementation and maintenance of procedures, work instructions, Job Descriptions, Hiring, Training, to ensure Free Trade Zone regulation adherence, controls, reports, audit attendance and preparation.
Logistics Providers Services Set up and Relationship Management: Procedures, Agreements, Purchase Order, Financial Controls, covering the activities, controls and reports to comply with Free Trade Zone responsibilities.
Communication with strategic internal stakeholders and external providers and authorities (originating companies, freight forwarders, customs brokers, local customs and free trade zone authorities).
Guarantee compliance with local regulation/ free trade zone regime, standards, and procedures; coordinate any regulatory or customs needs to ensure shipments 100% compliance
Ensure local compliance reflecting the ends and beginnings of all transits (local and international) in the VUCE 2.0 system.
Guarantee monthly Libro de Control de Operaciones reflecting all DUA electronic transactions (local and international).
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain or a related field.
APICS CPIM, CSCP certification.
Proficient B2 English level is a must.
7+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory control, logistics, procurement and production planning
Proficiency in inventory management systems and production capacity models.
Must have manufacturing environment-related experience working with ERP/MRP systems (Deacompreferred).
Proven experience with S&OP, SIOP or IBP processes.
