Supply Planning Analyst
Key role for ensuring finish goods availability on right quantity on the right time for Costa Rica’s factory SKU´s and external manufacturing (packs and imports re label). This involves the tactical definition of stock policies for finished goods and the regular definition of the factory and external manufacturing production schedule to ensure that the organization has the right products in the right quantities at the right time. This role is responsible for developing and executing supply plans that balance supply and demand, minimize inventory levels, and optimize production and logistics.
The Supply Planning Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that products are delivered to customers on time, in full, and at the right cost. Being measured financially by Working Capital (FG only),Supply Chain Losses (FG old age – losses by expired product); and, by service level: ensuring right product in production plan and CFR (not affecting R&P stock outs). Responsible for executing rituals and routines to ensure those KPIs delivery by applying Company’s Program (Log.Os and KHMS) processes steps.
Key Accountabilities
Supply Planning Strategy Execution: Lead the execution of supply planning strategy cascaded by the Planning Manager. Implement and define the supply planning processes that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Establish policies and procedures to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory. Following company’s standards defined on KHC Management System Log.Os and KHMS.
Inventory Optimization: Analyze supply patterns, lead times, and production capacity to determine optimal inventory levels for finish goods, packs, and imports inventory. Implement inventory control measures to avoid stockouts and overstocks.
Factory and External Manufacturing Collaboration: Engage with Process Owners to align their production and delivery capabilities with demand forecasts. Build strong relationships with key suppliers of information, exports team and Factory team to collaborate on supply planning, lead time reduction, and quality improvement initiatives.
Production Planning: Coordinate the scheduling, production to ensure the right service level for the customer is achieved. Optimizing the efficiency of the factory.
Performance Monitoring: Define with the Supply Planning Associate Manager the key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supply planning effectiveness. Monitor KPIs regularly, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions and FG stockouts.
Knowledge & Experience required
Bachelor’s degree in industrial, supply chain, operations engineering, or a related field.
Fluent English and Spanish
+3 years of working experience
+3 years in supply planning, manufacturing, or related roles within the supply chain field.
Experience in SAP, MRP, MPS and ITP/IBP processes.
Advanced Excel skills. Power BI knowledge is desirable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Office 365)
