Organizational Context and Scope
The project “Regular Migration Status and Socioeconomic Integration for Migrants Received by the Government of Costa Rica” implemented by IOM Costa Rica aims to contribute to the successful integration of migrants who after being received by the Government of Costa Rica, and offered the possibility to opt for Assisted Voluntary Return, decide to remain in the country as their destination country. To this end, IOM will support migrants to access to legal identity and a long-term regular status, via categories determined by the government of Costa Rica, as well as to access basic services and livelihood opportunities that sustain their integration process.
