Job Description Summary :
Prose on Pixels, located in Costa Rica, is part of the HAVAS u global network of advertising agencies.
We produce videos across a broad cross-section of genres and techniques—everything from complex 3D animation to intricate motion graphics to documentary style live action. We now have an exciting opportunity for an editor/animator well versed in live action video editing, motion graphics, audio mix, color correction, and compositing.
The ideal candidate will have energy in abundance, an excellent sense of how to portray diverse storytelling with 2D motion graphics, character animation or live action footage, and be able to produce engaging and emotive content with creative flair.
In this role you will be working closely with creative directors, art directors and producers and therefore will need to be comfortable working under pressure and be extremely organized in delivering high-quality video content.
You will be expected to work seamlessly with a team of editors, animators, and producers sharing your sound understanding and experience of all elements of the post-production process. For this you will need a good level of spoken/written English, to share your thoughts and ideas with agencies, Clients, Creative Directors, Producers, and fellow editors/animators.
You must have strong After Effects skills and a good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator as it applies to video post-production. Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, Fusion, Flame and/or Davinci Resolve is a plus, but not required.

Job Requirements:
- A background in a professional, post-production environment.
- English oral/spoken is required , B2 level or above.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere.
- A strong understanding of workflows and file structuring especially in After Effects.
- Great attention to detail and creative mindset.
- Develop initial concepts and collaborate with Creative and Art Directors.
- Continuously explore cutting-edge, current, and unique production processes and procedures.
- Develop knowledge of Account and Creative Teams’ processes and procedures—and the people involved—and interact appropriately.
- Uphold quality standards in servicing the Account and Creative Teams, and ultimately the Client.
- Proactive mindset.
- 4 years of experience working on the field.
Desirable:
- A good level of technical competency.
- Vigilantly seek to optimize group resources, both equipment, and personnel.
- Develop knowledge of Account and Creative Teams’ processes and procedures—and the people involved—and interact appropriately.
- Illustration experience for characters or elements.
- Experience in 2D animation, character design and character animation.
- Basic/mid level knowledge of sound design with Adobe Audition, Pro Tools or Logic Pro X.
- Basic/mid level knowledge of Color Correction with After Effects, Adobe Premiere and/or Davinci Resolve
- Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya or similar 3D tools.
- VFX and composing with After Effects, Fusion, Flame or similar.
