The Opportunity:

As a Product Crime Investigations Enabler, you are responsible for developing and advancing Roche’s global strategy and operational framework for product crime investigations. Partnering, collaborating, catalyzing and coaching to achieve outcomes with shared ownership and knowledge is crucial.

The Product Crime Investigations Enabler is responsible for collaborating with the Product Crime Investigation Squad and other internal stakeholders (e.g. Global Roche Anti Counterfeiting Committee, GRACC) to develop tailored analytical products related to falsified product investigations in a global setting.

The candidate will update and maintain investigative findings in the case management database, foster working relationships with law enforcement agencies and other pharmaceutical investigators, and support global product crime operations from detection through enforcement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and advance Roche’s global strategy and operational framework for product crime investigations.

  • Drive and support the global product crime investigations strategy, aligning with the GRACC overall strategy.

  • Lead multi-jurisdictional investigations into falsified pharmaceutical products.

  • Build and foster relationships with law enforcement agencies and pharmaceutical company investigators.

  • Utilize advanced analytics to conduct continuous analysis of data sources, linking incidents, and identifying pharmaceutical crime trends.

  • Support external enforcement actions by preparing detailed intelligence packages.

  • Develop and refine KPIs to measure the effectiveness of investigative activities.

  • Contribute to the development of SOPs, workflows, and playbooks to standardize investigative approaches.

  • Collaborate with international counterparts, sharing best practices and coordinating cross-border efforts.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of experience leading product crime investigations in the pharmaceutical sector.

  • 5+ years of work experience in law enforcement, military, security, or regulatory agency preferred.

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant subject matter area.

  • Expertise in leveraging open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools and methodologies.

  • Skilled in case management and investigative documentation using platforms like Kaseware.

  • Experience as a primary investigative liaison for local and regional affiliates.

  • Strong project management skills, resilience, and drive for results.

  • Proficiency in English; other languages (especially Spanish/Mandarin) are advantageous.

  • Ability to thrive in international and multicultural settings.

  • Ability to influence without authority and foster collaboration across diverse teams.

  • Self-driven with the ability to work with limited supervision

  • Strong team player with a collaborative and solution-focused mindset
