This role will be responsible for ensuring timely collections, accurate Accounts Receivable (AR) management, and high-quality customer service. The role acts as a liaison between customers, internal finance teams, billing, sales, and dispute management teams to ensure effective communication, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management, and active participation in automation and O2C transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring effective and timely collection of outstanding receivables.

  • Perform proactive collection activities through calls, emails, and customer follow-up while maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Perform detailed analysis of AR balances and transactions, executing adjustments as required to maintain accuracy.

  • Monitor accounts to identify overdue balances, risks, and discrepancies, taking proactive actions to resolve issues.

  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute periodic Accounts Receivable reports, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Support cash application and account reconciliation activities to ensure accurate posting of incoming payments.

  • Design and manage payment plans for customers with overdue balances, when applicable.

  • Ensure compliance with global collections policies and procedures while addressing local regulations and requirements as needed.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by improving communication, resolving queries, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., billing, sales, dispute management, and others) to resolve payment issues and streamline processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and supporting operational enhancements.

  • Actively participate in O2C testing activities, system implementations, and process optimization efforts to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience managing Order to Cash (O2C) processes, with a strong background in process integrity, continuous improvement, and automation. Experience in shared services environments supporting Brazil stakeholders or multinational operations is preferred.

  • Skills: Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel is required. Experience with Power BI, Salesforce as ERP system is a strong plus. Knowledge of automation and process optimization methodologies is preferred.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues within the O2C process and support KPI deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Adaptability: Ability to support BAU (Business as Usual) activities and transition optimization projects into regular operations.

  • Process-Oriented: Demonstrates a high level of organization and attention to detail while managing and following established processes.

  • Proactivity: Takes initiative, remains engaged, and provides support when needed to drive successful outcomes.

  • Fast Learner: Quickly adapts to and understands BAU operations, ensuring a solid understanding of day-to-day activities and routines.

  • Continuous Improvement and Automation: Focused on driving process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for optimization and automation to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Management: Capable of managing stakeholder expectations and providing effective support during escalations.

  • Sense of Urgency: Prioritizes tasks effectively and responds promptly to critical situations, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Languages: Intermediate to advanced Portuguese and intermediate English are required.
