The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic advisory professional with a focus on the LATAM markets.
This individual will support the Baker Tilly networks advisory service line, with a primary focus on corporate finance, outsourcing, digital and internal audit services. They will also assist in developing other areas of advisory across the network. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to enhance and utilize their expertise across cultures and countries, with a focus on LATAM markets, as well as North America markets.
The successful candidate will be part of the local Baker Tilly firm but will work closely with the Baker Tilly International Global Office team, collaborating with service line leaders, leading regional firms, and senior leaders across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the advisory strategy for the LATAM and North America region, coordinating both front-end and back-end solutions.
- Conduct capability mapping exercises and collaborate with key firms to address identified gaps in advisory services.
- Coordinate multi-country business development efforts and facilitate joint pitches across the Americas region.
- Collaborate with regional leaders and network firms to build organic and inorganic advisory capabilities, particularly in priority markets with language or market nuances.
- Identify and deliver training initiatives, including knowledge-sharing opportunities.
- Support lead generation efforts in alignment with relevant corporate finance and advisory go-tomarket strategies.
- Standardize proposal and report templates, assisting in the production of regional and global capability statements.
- Explore the use of AI and other technology solutions to enhance the delivery of advisory services across the network.
- Facilitate the sharing of best practices and collaboration across firms in the region.
- Work closely with the Global Office teams to coordinate sharing of expertise and knowledge internally and externally.
What will the role entail?
We expect the advisory resource to bring insight and expertise in developing the necessary tools and methodology to help develop the service line while coordinating and driving the overall advisory activities. They will need to be able to work across cultures and time zones. They will:
- Work with network firms and advisory teams to build capabilities in key markets.
- Drive inorganic growth, particularly in markets with regional nuances or language barriers, by identifying potential targets and exploring suitable collaboration models.
- Assist firms in non-priority markets that have the potential to develop strong advisory capabilities.
- Engage with practitioners at regional conferences to ensure continued dialogue and collaboration within the advisory community.
- Liaise closely with the Global Office team to deliver strategic initiatives and provide support to network firms.
- Be able to work under pressure, managing multiple items at any given time
How do you know if you are right for the role?
- You will bring a wealth of experience to this role with leadership and technical skills, including:
- 5+ years of professional services experience in corporate finance or other advisory services.
- Experience leading advisory teams and delivering end-to-end engagements in client-facing roles.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and delivering a broad range of advisory services.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in a network or membership-based environment.
- Demonstrable experience in data analysis and delivering actionable insights.
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work across multiple regions and time zones.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
