Devops Engineer (GCP)

Job Description

• Design and implement build and deployment configuration processes
• Implement continuous deployment releases
• Apply deployments to various environments (test, stage, prod)
• Manage and maintain CI/CD tools within team
• Work with Windows environments
• Deploy updates and fixes
• Provide technical support
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Qualifications

• 4+ years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong experience working with CI/CD Pipeline - Jenkins, Maven, Bamboo
• Proficient in Containerization - Kubernetes, Docker
• Strong Experience in scripting languages like Python, Shell.
• Experience working on Cloud Platforms, preferably Google cloud platform.(GCP)
• Good experiec in Terraform, Ansible
• Experience with cloud technologies, Micro services, web technologies (e.g Java, spring, spring boot, angular, JVM etc.) & SOA/distributed applications architectures.
• E-commerce platform experience in retail highly preferred
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Experience with project delivery for large, cross-functional projects with large-scale systems of world-class availability, scalability, and performance requirements.
