Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support multiple engineering projects simultaneously.

  • Execute engineering activities and testing under the guidance of Process Development and Manufacturing Engineers.

  • Participate in project meetings and engineering discussions.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data to support engineering studies and process improvements.

  • Support statistical analysis activities and documentation updates.

  • Assist in the execution of manufacturing floor activities, including testing, observations, and engineering builds.

  • Support documentation review, updates, and technical record maintenance.

  • Assist with material handling, labeling activities, and coordination of project-related materials when required.

  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operators to support project execution.

  • Participate in engineering activities that require a hands-on presence on the manufacturing floor.

  • Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.

  • Follow company quality systems, safety requirements, and regulatory procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Active undergraduate student pursuing a degree in:

    • Industrial Engineering

    • Mechanical Engineering

    • Electrical Engineering

    • Electromechanical Engineering

    • Other engineering disciplines related to manufacturing and process development.

  • Preferably 75%–80% of the degree program completed.

  • Previous participation in academic, technical, or university projects is desirable.

  • Interest in manufacturing, engineering processes, and medical device technologies.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required

  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel.

  • Basic statistical knowledge.

  • Ability to collect, analyze, and organize technical information.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

  • Strong learning agility and willingness to take on new challenges.

  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable

  • Data analysis experience.

  • Experience with engineering or technical projects.

  • Exposure to manufacturing environments.

  • English communication skills.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 100% onsite position.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Flexibility may be provided based on university course schedules and academic commitments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Medical device manufacturing environment.

  • Frequent interaction with Process Development Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Technicians, and Operators.

  • Significant hands-on participation on the production floor.

  • Exposure to multiple engineering projects and cross-functional teams.
