Senior Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

The Senior Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that building services comply with government and industry regulations, environmental and employee needs, and that infrastructure is safe and well-maintained. This role supervises maintenance technicians, facilities personnel, and external contractors, and reports to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field (required)
• Licentiate degree in Engineering (preferred)
• English proficiency at B2+ or C1 level (required)
• 5–10 years of experience in similar roles
• Minimum 5 years leading technical teams in maintenance and facilities
• Minimum 5 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, including automated and electromechanical systems
• Minimum 5 years working in specialized environments such as cleanrooms and controlled areas, complying with regulatory standards (required)
• Previous participation in plant expansions, remodeling, and adaptations
• Experience in creating and reviewing layouts using CAD tools (2D and 3D)

Responsibilities

• Ensure building services meet regulatory, environmental, and employee requirements
• Supervise service providers including cleaning, construction, building improvements, and security
• Manage maintenance and personnel budgets
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures
• Support manufacturing floor operations alongside Facilities and Maintenance teams
• Oversee corrective and preventive maintenance activities: scheduled maintenance, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, procedure creation, and spare parts inventory management
• Apply critical thinking to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce equipment downtime
• Support CAPA, FMEA, and audit activities
• Assist with layout changes, equipment installation, and production line validation
• Work with minimal supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned
