OVERVIEW
We are seeking an early-career User Experience Designer to join our Experience Design team. This role plays a critical enabling function within the broader design organization, focusing on the creation, maintenance, and governance of design system assets, accessibility support, and production-ready design delivery.
The successful candidate will act as the connective layer between internal design systems and the teams who rely on them daily. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer with strong systems thinking, a solid grasp of accessibility standards, and a passion for building scalable, well-documented design foundations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design System Stewardship (Primary Focus)
- Create, maintain, and evolve Figma component libraries and design system assets to support design teams across the organization.
- Track updates from internal source systems and adapt components for team-specific usage while ensuring consistency and quality.
- Document component usage guidelines and maintain organized, accessible design system files and libraries.
Accessibility Support
- Support accessibility initiatives by auditing designs for WCAG compliance and documenting accessibility specifications.
- Partner with designers to help apply inclusive design principles and accessibility best practices throughout the design process.
Design Delivery & Production
- Prepare production-ready design assets, including redlines, specifications, and documentation for development handoff.
- Ensure design files are clearly structured, annotated, and ready for accurate implementation by engineering teams.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, visual designers, and developers to understand needs and ensure design system assets are effective and usable.
- Communicate updates, changes, and best practices related to design systems and accessibility to relevant stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–4 years of professional experience in UX, product, or interaction design.
- Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and design tokens.
- Hands-on experience working with or contributing to design systems.
- Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating systematic thinking, consistency, and attention to craft.
Preferred
- Experience designing enterprise software or SaaS products.
- Familiarity with design tokens and design-to-development workflows.
- Understanding of responsive and adaptive design patterns.
- Experience using accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline preferred.
Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
