Your work days are brighter here.

At Workday, it all began with a conversation over breakfast. When our founders met at a sunny California diner, they came up with an idea to revolutionize the enterprise software market. And when we began to rise, one thing that really set us apart was our culture. A culture which was driven by our value of putting our people first. And ever since, the happiness, development, and contribution of every Workmate is central to who we are. Our Workmates believe a healthy employee-centric, collaborative culture is the essential mix of ingredients for success in business. That’s why we look after our people, communities and the planet while still being profitable. Feel encouraged to shine, however that manifests: you don’t need to hide who you are. You can feel the energy and the passion, it's what makes us unique. Inspired to make a brighter work day for all and transform with us to the next stage of our growth journey? Bring your brightest version of you and have a brighter work day here.

At Workday, we value our candidates’ privacy and data security.  Workday will never ask candidates to apply to jobs through websites that are not Workday Careers.

Please be aware of sites that may ask for you to input your data in connection with a job posting that appears to be from Workday but is not.

In addition, Workday will never ask candidates to pay a recruiting fee, or pay for consulting or coaching services, in order to apply for a job at Workday.

About the Team

The VIBE™ Team is a Center of Excellence within the People & Purpose (HR) function that serves all of Workday. VIBE stands for Value, Inclusion, and Belonging for Everyone — and it’s embedded in everything we do, from recruiting and career development to product, analytics, and employee experience.

Our north star:

“Through VIBE, we all build a workplace where inclusion sparks innovation, belonging powers performance, and everyone contributes their best in fueling Workday’s growth.”

The VIBE Team is made up of three groups:
1. Programs – Lead our global signature initiatives around Disability Inclusion and Employee Belonging Councils
2. Experience – Drive VIBE storytelling, awareness, and learning to inspire action and allyship
3. Business Partners (This Role) – Serve as embedded advisors to Workday’s business and functional leaders seeking our support to deliver concrete, high-impact solutions tied to business strategy

About the Role

As a VIBE Business Partner, you don’t just talk about change -  you make it happen. You’ll embed inclusion and belonging directly into how our leaders lead, how our teams work, and how decisions are made across the company.

This is a high-trust, high-impact consulting role designed for someone who can translate vision into action. You’ll partner with senior leaders globally to diagnose root challenges, identify VIBE opportunities, and co-create targeted solutions that deliver measurable results. You’ll lead focused, time-bound engagements that help business leaders solve real problems - like improving team culture, supporting reorgs or making decisions more fairly - using a clear, repeatable business-centered approach. These engagements include:

  • Inclusive leadership enablement

  • Org design and transformation support

  • Decision-making readiness

  • VIBE integration blueprints

  • Readiness assessments

  • Executive-facing deliverables

This isn’t a role for passive advisors or idea generators. You’ll be on point to own the work, drive the plan, and get the results. You’ll also serve as a proactive communicator and thought partner to our People Business Partners colleagues to ensure ongoing P&P-wide alignment througout every engagement.

About You

  • You blend strategic insight with execution muscle - equal parts advisor and operator

  • You don’t wait for perfect conditions - you thrive in ambiguity and know how to get traction fast

  • You’re allergic to “should’ve, could’ve, would’ve” -  your superpower is turning ideas into action

  • You bring a learning mindset and a solutions orientation to every conversation

  • You’re energized by cross-functional work and can align multiple stakeholders around a shared outcome

  • You deliver with excellence - you meet the moment and then raise the bar

  • You care deeply about inclusion, but you’re not doing this work in theory - you do it with the business, in the business

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience turning business needs into inclusive strategies that drive measurable outcomes

  • Demonstrated success leading or advising on inclusion, org transformation, leadership, or talent strategy efforts

  • Strong program and project management skills - able to scope, plan, execute, and measure engagements from start to finish

  • Confident facilitator and communicator - able to drive clarity, alignment, and buy-in at all levels (particularly with executive audiences)

  • Comfort using engagement data to surface insights and shape action

  • Experience working across matrixed environments and cross-functional teams (e.g., Chiefs of Staff, People Partners, People Consultants, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify the complex

  • Experience navigating organizational ambiguity and scaling solutions across geographies and functions

  • Known for your follow-through - you roll up your sleeves and get the work done

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience driving inclusion, leadership development, or organizational transformation

  • Prior experience working in a global organization or advising across countries/regions

  • Knowledge of modern HR practices and inclusion and belonging best practices

  • Familiarity with coaching, leadership development, change enablement, or org design

  • Experience with strategic communications, storytelling, or influence without authority

  • Fluency in English; Spanish a plus

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
